The last weekend of the day and here are the updates for what I have done for the week...
15 July '08
it was a working day as usual in camp and there was nothing much to do in the office, was reading newspapers, doing my own things and chatting with my colleagues, as soon as it was time to knock off, it was raining heavily and went for my last parade, went back to bunk to shower, changed my clothes and waited for the rain to stop cause i have to meet up some of my NDP Cluster at Marina Square for dinner, as it was already late for me to take the train to town, i have no choice but to flag down a cab and head there. Met them at the food court, eventually Ain, Ju, Naq and Jess were on the way, so i had my dinner first cause i was hungry, after awhile they came and had their dinner. soon it was almost 8pm and we were rushing to catch MagixBox concert at the esplanade, the tickets was given complimentary to us.
I have to say the show was amazing and great, full of surprises and humour, it lasted over two and half hours including intervals. And lastly we took photos before heading back home. (Naq...please send me the photos)
16th July '08
It was my off day because of my involvement in the NDP, it was supposed to be on monday but i changed it to wednesday due to the concert the previous night, so that afternoon i met up with my childhood friend nazri to hang out in town and survey for stuffs, he eventually told me that safiah was coming, earlier on i was blur when he messaged me that yaya was coming, i was like oh ok...hahaha!! throughout the journey on the train we chatted some topics about our daily activities in camp and so on, when we reached our destination, we thought of waiting for her but it was still a long way, so we decided to walk around citylink mall and browse for watches, apparels and waited for safiah at the adidas outlet, eventually she was supposed to be in school studying but she skipped it as we have not met up for a long time, so we continued browsing until we were hungry, Long John Silver's was our lunch and i promised safiah i will treat her to a meal for the things she had done for me, i was expecting her to buy an expensive meal but she chose the cheaper option, very weird of her. We chatted a lot of stuffs during lunch, thereafter we went to suntec to go shopping and take some photos, eventually eqin smsed me and said she was on the way and want us to meet her up at city hall mrt because she want to head to peninsular plaza and get her stuffs, in the end we had to walked back all the way just to go there, done with her shopping, we wanted to find a place to sit down, relax and talk, eqin suggested going to Ya Kun Kaya Toast, so we were fine with that place...ordered some toast bread with lemon tea, made some jokes and took photos before heading back home.

That morning, as usual i wanted to have breakfast with my cousin, but she was so sick and i brought her to our family doctor, she was running a very high fever and she was weak, but it was a common virus and nothing serious happened, i was already running late for my NDP rehearsals and training, so there was no one to take care of her, i called my relatives, but they were all busy working, so i had to ask her friend if she will be kind enough to take care of my cousin and she agreed, so i waited for her to come to my place, as i was ready to go off...i took a cab down and met up with the rest for our NDP rehearsal, had lunch at our holding area, waiting for instructions to proceed to the platform, the mood was upbeat as we were eager to go all out for our last NE show before the real test begins for the Preview show on Aug 2nd, while mingling around the platform, it started to rain heavily, our energy level began to go down abit but nevertheless the show will still go on. At the end of the parade segment, we headed back to our holding area to have our dinner and return for the grand finale for the fireworks even though it was raining, at the end of the parade, everyone had a great time and looking forward for the Preview, later on we had a debrief regarding about next week's schedule. Awhile later my cousin messaged me whether we could catch The Dark Knight movie at The Cathay, i wasn't sure if she's ok to watch as she wasn't feeling unwell, but she insist on watching and her friend is also around, i met up with eqin, safiah and the rest to hang around at marina square for awhile before they headed back home, i went to Cathay to booked the tickets for the midnight show, while waiting for them, i was at starbucks and ordered ice blended mocha. They came, quickly we made our way up to get some light snacks and proceed to the hall and be seated.
Overall the movie is 152 minutes and worth the money watching it, the best sequel since Batman Begins, the late Heath Ledger potrayed as The Joker is one of the great villain i've ever seen, the character fits him completely, and the action scenes was so thrilling, so to those who have not watch, please see it before goes off the list from the cinema. In the end we all took the Nite Owl bus and headed home.
I woke up exactly 12 noon, that explains how bloody tired i was the previous night and got sick too, lucky it was a bad flu and rested alot the whole day...that's all for the week!!
